GaLLY is an under 25’s group much like a generic youth club but with the facility to offer specialist advice, support and information to LGBT young people. Straight friends are welcome to come and join the group.
There is a need to provide an alternative to the mainstream gay scene which can be for many young people, the first real contact with others who are same-gender loving.
The scene in itself consists of clubs, pubs, bars and sauna’s which can be risky and misleading, and more often than not fuelled with drugs and alcohol.
It is important for a young person to have a safe space to establish their Gay identity.
GaLLY’s expectations
