Lewisham safeguarding children

The Safeguarding Board is a partnership between all agencies, organisations and services in Lewisham with responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

It was established in response to the Victoria Climbie Inquiry which emphasised the importance of all agencies working together to protect children from abuse and neglect.
