Training and workshops

Information workshops

Throughout the year Carers Lewisham run various one day, afternoon or morning workshops for carers on a wide range of topics.

For example:

  • Look after yourself whilst caring
  • Caring for a young person with learning difficulties
  • Caring for someone with mental health difficulties
  • Caring for the over 60s
  • Caring as a parent.

All workshops are advertised in our regular newsletter and all carers are welcome to attend.

Your rights as a carer

This is a short free day workshop at the Lewisham Carers' Centre.

Mental health workshops

Do you look after someone aged 18 to 65 who has a mental health difficulty such a schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder or an eating disorder?

If you would like to find more about mental health illnesses and how to cope with the needs of the person you support, come to a Carers Lewisham information day.

Relaxation and well being days

Carers Lewisham run several well being and relaxation days through the year. They include aromatherapy, Reiki workshops, massage and reflexology.
