How do I become a social worker ?
If you are interested in training to become a social worker, the information below will assist you in making the right career choices.
It is no long possible for Lewisham Council to offer training positions to train as a social worker. This is because the qualification now needed is a degree, which does mean that you will need to go and study at a University. The degree is a three year degree course, but there is government funding available for you to apply for in order to assist with you studies. You will be able to get further information about this at Goldsmiths College.
