From 15 May 2007 to 22 September 2007, Lewisham’s Community Services Directorate consulted stakeholders on proposals to change the eligibility and charging policies for adult social care.
The consultation was carried out using the council’s consultation framework and was designed to enable the participation of a wide range of stakeholders including service users, carers, staff, Lewisham residents, voluntary sector organisations and service providers.
The report documents the analysis of all questionnaires and focus groups, public meeting and other responses submitted to the London Borough of Lewisham during the consultation period.

What might happen next?
The Council Mayor and Cabinet will consider this final consultation report on 5 December 2007 and subsequently take a view. Please check back towards mid December for an update on the outcome of this meeting.
