We aim to help vulnerable adults from all backgrounds live as independently and safely as possible. We also help people who need support because they are caring for other people.
If you, or a relative or friend, need help, read through this section for information about services we provide. You can also contact the Adult Social Care Information Service.

What we provide
Carer support / Help at home / Help after hospital / Residential care / Safeguarding vulnerable adults / Services for disabled people
Who we help
The adults we help may be vulnerable because of their physical or mental health, because they have a learning or physical disability or a combination of these.
Assessing your needs
Before we can arrange services for you, you need to have an assessment. At the assessment, you will talk to a trained professional about your needs.
Paying for care
You might have to pay a charge for your services. This would depend on your level of income and the cost of the services you receive.
Arranging care for yourself - direct payments
You can organise your own care, or buy equipment with the money we would have used to provide your services.
Feedback on adult social care
It is important that you are able to tell us your experiences of the services we provide. This section tells you how you can give us feedback.
Contact us using the details below during office hours. For our out of hours service please phone 020 8314 6000.
