Around 60 per cent of your household waste is made up of recyclable materials. Please separate your rubbish into recycling waste (in your green bin) and non-recycling waste (your grey bin).

Please leave your recycling bin at the edge of your property for collection by 7am. If you have more recycling than you can fit in your green box or bin, you may leave additional bags (clearly identifiable) of recyclables by the side of your box for collection.

We provide you with either a green wheelie bin or a green box for your recycling. If you don't have one, call 020 8314 7171 and we'll aim deliver it within six to eight weeks.

Preparing your waste for recycling
It is more pleasant for you and the recycling crews if you wash things out. Your bin/box will stay clean, free from smells and will not attract animals and flies.
- rinse all bottles, jars and cans
- make sure all paper is clean and kitchen foil is free of food
- make sure cardboard is flat-packed
