The Site Allocations DPD will allocate specific sites for development to meet the need for a range of uses including employment, retail, residential, leisure and transport. The Site Allocations plan will support the implementation of the Core Strategy.
In 2007 the Council consulted on the Preferred Options for the Development Policies and Site Allocations document (at that stage the two matters were proposed to be included in one plan). The Council will consider comments made and will report on them in due course.
