The Lewisham Town Centre Area Action Plan sets out a comprehensive set of policies and proposals for development in Lewisham Town Centre. It proposes major redevelopment opportunities and major traffic and transport infrastructure changes.
In addition it will contain policies that promote action, guide change or safeguard important designations that enable sustainable communities to thrive. This will all stem from the strategic policies in the Spatial (Core) Strategy.
Consultation on the action plan
The consultation period for the Preferred Options for the Lewisham Town Centre AAP Strategy (and its associated Sustainability Appraisal) has now ended. The Council will consider comments made and will report on them in due course.
