Responses to the LDF issues and options consultation

In July 2005 the Council undertook a borough wide consultation on how land should be used over the coming years and which emphasized the impact the LDF can have on how and where we live, work, shop and spend our leisure time. The following reports show the responses you made to the consultation and also the recommendations from the Council in response to your feedback.

Responses to part one

The first document Issues and Options Responses Summary Part 1 records all general comments made to the Council regarding Housing, Urban Design and Conservation, Sustainable Environment and Waste Management.

Responses to part two

The second document Issues and Options Responses Summary Part 2 records all general comments made to the Council regarding Open Space & Biodiversity, Employment and Transport.

Responses to part three

The third document Issues and Options Responses Summary Part 3 records all general comments made to the Council regarding Retail & Town Centres and Site Allocations.

Responses to part four

The fourth document Issues and Options Responses Summary Part 4 records all general comments made to the Council regarding Community Facilities and Health & Education.

About the consultation documents

All the documents listed above detail the methodology of the consultation, a summary of the questionnaire responses, the written responses together with the Council’s response and a summary of all the focus meetings that took place between July and November 2005.
