Giffin Street masterplan

In June 2005 the Council commissioned the Landscape Partnership and HKR Architects to prepare a strategic masterplan for the redevelopment of the Giffin Street area in Deptford. 

We recognised that a significant number of major development proposals were being developed for this area and that these proposals needed to be managed and co-ordinated.

The report below presents the strategic masterplan that was developed to guide the future development of the Giffin Street area.

Its purpose is to provide the basis for us to deliver each building project separately. It was developed by a multi-disciplinary team of urban designers, landscape architects, architects and transport planners following a consultation exercise with the key ‘stakeholders’ in the area.
