If you are aged 16 - 19 years old and you need childcare while you study you may be eligible for help towards your childcare costs. You can choose to complete a part-time or full-time course and your course can be anything from a few weeks to over two years.
You must:
- start learning after 1 August 2003 or be continuing a course in school, a school sixth form or sixth form college that you started before you were 19 years old
- start a course in a school, college or as a trainee with a work based learning provider, that is publicly funded
- be caring for your own child(ren)
- be living in England
- use a registered childcare provider.
