The allocation of places at Early Years Centres and other services for children with special needs is overseen by the Special Needs Admissions Panel.
This group, which is made up of specialist Health Service professionals and service providers, meets each term to ensure that appropriate services are provided for each child referred.
Referrals are made to two Special Needs Health Visitors who coordinate the work of other health visitors and professionals. Your local health visitor or doctor will be able to put you in touch.
