Community Education Lewisham (CEL) has provision in six daytime crèches across the borough where children can stay for a two hour session in a safe, stimulating environment whilst their parent or carer attend a CEL class.
CEL provide experienced childcare staff who will encourage and promote the well being and development of each individual child.
The crèches provide places for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. Due to the requirements of the 1989 Childrens Act, there are a limited number of places available for children under 2 years.
Students can book a place when they enrol at a CEL class for the following venues:
- Bellingham Community Centre
- Brockley Rise crèche
- Goldsmiths community centre crèche
- Granville Park
- Grove Park crèche
- Kirkdale crèche.
