Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP)

The Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP) sets out the high-level aims of agencies working for children and young people in Lewisham over the period April 2009–March 2012.

While the local authority has responsibility for the Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP), it has been developed with the full involvement of all partners on the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership Board.

In its development, the plan was informed by wide
ranging consultation, involving:

• strategic and operational managers within the partner organisations
• elected members
• a range of statutory and non-statutory forums
• schools and colleges
• children and young people
• and parents.

The plan is founded in a robust analysis of data from a wide variety of sources. This, along with consultation, has informed the vision, drivers, priorities and activities.
