The Corporate Plan is a strategic document addressing many issues that require responses over the medium term. The Corporate Plan sets out our 10 corporate priorities which outline the Council's contribution to the delivery of the Community Strategy. The document is updated annually, as it is the vehicle through which end-of-year performance data are published.
The purpose of the Corporate Plan is to:
- set out the Council’s vision, values, strategic direction and key priorities for action up to 2009 and beyond
- outline the Council’s contribution to the delivery of the Community Strategy
- report the key improvements to be delivered to enable the Council to achieve ‘four star’ status under the revised corporate performance assessment (CPA)
- report performance against objectives and commitments.
