The key strategic document for Lewisham and for the Lewisham Strategic Partnership is Shaping our future – Lewisham’s sustainable community strategy. Shaping our future establishes two cross-cutting principles, that will underline all partnership work in the borough, and six priority outcomes that describe sustainable communities in Lewisham and which all partner organisations can work towards.
Local Area Agreement
Opportunity and well-being for all is Lewisham’s Local Area Agreement (LAA). It is an agreement with central government that establishes challenging targets which address the key inequalities that Lewisham and our citizens face. Opportunity and well-being for all draws upon the extensive evidence base and consultation research that informed the development of Shaping our future.
The Lewisham Strategic Partnership has agreed the LAA and all partner organisations will work to ensure that the targets are met. The LAA is one of the key tools which will allow us to measure how well we are delivering against the priorities of Shaping our future.
