Children and Young People's Plan

This Plan is a strategic plan, setting out the high-level aims of agencies working for children and young people in Lewisham over the period April 2006–March 2009. While the local authority has responsibility for the Plan, it has been developed with the full involvement of all partners on the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership Board.

In its development the Plan has been informed by wide
ranging consultation. This has involved strategic and operational managers within the partner organisations, elected members, a range of statutory and non-statutory fora, schools and colleges and children and young people.

The Plan is well founded in a robust analysis of data and information from a wide variety of sources and this, along with consultation, has informed the vision, drivers, priorities and activities.
