Will the Mayor stay for the whole event?
It is usually the case that people want the Mayor to perform a certain function – launching an initiative, making a speech, closing a ceremony – so in most cases the Mayor will attend that specific section of the event.
What happens next?
After you’ve made contact and we’ve received your invitation, you will receive a reply within 10 working days. If a civic dignitary is able to attend your event, you will be asked to fill out a form with further details about the engagement.
