Priorities for Sydenham

These top five priorities for Sydenham have been agreed by the Assembly:

  • improving community safety and tackling anti- social behaviour
  • more activities for children and young people
  • transport improvements
  • business and enterprise / vibrant high street
  • environmental improvements.

The Assembly will develop an action plan to address these priorities.


Locality Fund

At the 4 September 2008 meeting, the Sydenham Assembly agreed on these projects for funding from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:

  • Sydenham Arts Festival: £5,000
  • development of Sydenham and Forest Hill Youth Forum - £1,000
  • Sydenham radio project to work with young people - £2,000
  • replacement and new litter bins: £1,000
  • wallpaper for vacant shops: £1,000.
