Locality Fund
The following projects have been funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:
- climbing apparatus, Mayow Park - £10,000.
The following projects have been funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2009-10:
- Stanstead Road community gardens street party, July 2009 (Stanstead Road Community Group) - £1,100
- Sydenham Arts Festival - £2,500
- older men’s transport project (Ageing Well in Lewisham) - £4,905
- Perry Vale Assembly report - £895
- Perry Vale road safety project - £600.
Mayor’s Fund
Mayor and Cabinet have agreed the following projects recommended by the assembly for funding from the £50,000 Mayor's Fund:
- Young Lewisham Project - 'In Touch' programme - £20,000
- Greening Perry Vale tree planting scheme - £14,000
- Rockbourne Youth Club creation of IT suite - £10,000
- Ahoy Centre - 'Making Waves in Perry Vale' sailing activities - £3,024
- public meetings on traffic issues in the area with traffic consultants and a final report - £2,976.
