Priorities for Lee Green
These top three priorities for Lee Green were agreed at the 15 September 2008 meeting:
- Controlled Parking Zones and traffic
- Leegate Centre
- youth provision
- environment.
The Assembly will develop an action plan to address these priorities.
Locality Fund
The Assembly has agreed on these projects for funding from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:
- Lee Oasis recycling project - £2,500
- Lee Fair Share laptop and equipment for community allotment - £500
- Tall Lighthouse poetry, music and comedy events at Open Studios - £550
- development of Triangle Nature Reserve - £1,000
- Dr Bike event - £300 (Lewisham Cyclists)
- Manor House Library LCD display - £1,500
- FUSS Planters and Christmas Community Fair in Staplehurst Road - £1,000
- bench seats in Woodyates Road and Cambridge Drive - £1,300
- Scout minibus in memory of Jimmy Mizen - £350 (Justice and Peace Group)
- Leegate Centre improvements - £1,000.
