Priorities for Forest Hill
These top five priorities for Forest Hill were agreed at the 24 September 2008 meeting:
- town centre (empty shops)
- youth provision
- parking and traffic enforcement
- lack of community facilities
- environmental issues.
The Assembly will develop an action plan to address these priorities.
Locality Fund
The Assembly has agreed on these projects for funding from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:
- Horniman Park play park development - café paving - £2,500
- Millwall Kicks Summer Programme (football provision for girls in Wells Park) - £1,000
- contribution to Sydenham / Forest Hill Arts Festival - £2,500
- decoration of Rockbourne Youth Club sports hall - £500
- Sydenham School trip to Wide Horizons, Ty'n y Berth Mountain Centre in Wales - £2,500
- development of Forest Hill and Sydenham Youth Forum - £1,000.
