Priorities for Forest Hill

These top five priorities for Forest Hill were agreed at the 24 September 2008 meeting:

  • town centre (empty shops)
  • youth provision
  • parking and traffic enforcement
  • lack of community facilities
  • environmental issues.

The Assembly will develop an action plan to address these priorities.


Locality Fund

The Assembly has agreed on these projects for funding from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:

  • Horniman Park play park development - café paving - £2,500
  • Millwall Kicks Summer Programme (football provision for girls in Wells Park) - £1,000
  • contribution to Sydenham / Forest Hill Arts Festival - £2,500
  • decoration of Rockbourne Youth Club sports hall - £500
  • Sydenham School trip to Wide Horizons, Ty'n y Berth Mountain Centre in Wales - £2,500
  • development of Forest Hill and Sydenham Youth Forum - £1,000.
