Locality Fund
The following projects have been funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:
- sensory reading garden at Crofton Park Library - £3,000
- Blythe Hill Fields Festival - £1,400 (The Blythe Hill Fields User Group)
- community notice board in Honor Oak Park - £600 (HOPAG)
- flower planters and flower baskets for Brockley Road, Brockley Rise - £2,500
- Christmas lights for Crofton Park ward - £2,500.
The following projects have been funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2009-10:
- street bench for shoppers by the Chandos pub - £170
- Blythe Hill Fields Festival 2010 - £1,000
- community mosaic project at Crofton Park station - £5,000
- St Saviour’s church community garden - £300
- floral displays in the ward - £3,550.
Mayor’s Fund
Mayor and Cabinet have agreed the following projects recommended by the assembly for funding from the £50,000 Mayor's Fund:
- tree replacement programme and wildflower meadow in Blythe Hill Fields - £17,025
- Crofton Park youth forum and ring-fenced project money for young people - £14,475
- St Hilda's Church - creation of community website - £5,000
- purchase and installation of three community notice boards - £10,000
- Healthy Brockley - wellbeing workshops - £3,500.
