Crofton Park Assembly funding

On this page you can see details of projects that have been allocated funding through the Crofton Park Assembly.

Locality Fund

The following projects have been funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:

  • sensory reading garden at Crofton Park Library - £3,000
  • Blythe Hill Fields Festival - £1,400 (The Blythe Hill Fields User Group)
  • community notice board in Honor Oak Park - £600 (HOPAG)
  • flower planters and flower baskets for Brockley Road, Brockley Rise - £2,500
  • Christmas lights for Crofton Park ward - £2,500.

The following projects have been funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2009-10:

  • street bench for shoppers by the Chandos pub - £170
  • Blythe Hill Fields Festival 2010 - £1,000
  • community mosaic project at Crofton Park station - £5,000
  • St Saviour’s church community garden - £300
  • floral displays in the ward - £3,550.

Mayor’s Fund

Mayor and Cabinet have agreed the following projects recommended by the assembly for funding from the £50,000 Mayor's Fund:

  • tree replacement programme and wildflower meadow in Blythe Hill Fields - £17,025
  • Crofton Park youth forum and ring-fenced project money for young people - £14,475
  • St Hilda's Church - creation of community website - £5,000
  • purchase and installation of three community notice boards - £10,000
  • Healthy Brockley - wellbeing workshops - £3,500.
