Priorities for Crofton Park
These top five priorities for Crofton Park were agreed at the 13 October 2008 meeting:
- improving streetscape (including street lighting, pavements, flowers, tree replacement)
- improving youth provision in the area
- improving open spaces (including Blythe Hill Fields)
- improving access to facilities for all in the ward
- improving community cohesion.
The Assembly will develop an action plan to address these priorities.
Locality Fund
The Assembly has agreed on these projects for funding from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008-09:
- sensory reading garden at Crofton Park Library - £3,000
- Blythe Hill Fields Festival - £1,400 (The Blythe Hill Fields User Group)
- community notice board in Honor Oak Park - £600 (HOPAG)
- flower planters and flower baskets for Brockley Road, Brockley Rise - £2,500
- Christmas lights for Crofton Park ward - £2,500.
