Council tax payment cards replaced payment books in April 2009 for everyone who doesn’t use direct debit to pay their council tax.
We will not be issuing new payment cards each year - only new residents will get a new card.
Existing residents should continue to use the card already sent last year. If you have lost your payment card please contact us (details below) to request a replacement.
You present the card when you make a payment at any of these payment outlets:
The card will be scanned and you will be given a receipt to prove you have paid.
Residents who pay by direct debit will not be affected by the change.
The card can only be used to register your council tax payments. It is not a debit or credit card and has no value to anyone else.
