Docklands Light Railway
Central Lewisham is a major commercial and public transport centre. Overground rail, the Docklands Light Railway and a bus garage mean fast and reliable journeys into the City and Docklands with fast connections to international services at City Airport and Waterloo International Station.
Leisure is catered for with pubs and restaurants, the Limelight Gallery, a bowling alley, Lewisham Central Library and Tourist Information Centre, Granville Adult Education Centre and local leisure centres. The town centre has a major shopping centre and a traditional street market. Major regeneration of the town centre will see more homes, leisure and shopping opportunities as well as adding a new park and new town square.
