The Horniman Museum
The Horniman Museum is one of London’s best kept secrets. Music, art, cultural artefacts from across the world, an aquarium, events and environmental education are all provided free of charge. The Museum and it’s green flag gardens are easily accessed via Forest Hill Station and many bus routes.
Honor Oak Gallery ,a good range of local shops, Forest Hill library, Forest Hill and Sydenham Secondary schools provide an attractive mix of local amenities. Leisure is catered for by a community Sports Centre at Forest Hill School (due to open autumn 2007), and a local swimming pool (closed temporarily for refurbishment).
