The Horniman Museum is one of London’s best kept secrets. Music, art, cultural artefacts from across the world, an aquarium, events and environmental education are all provided free of charge. The Museum and its gardens are easily accessed via Forest Hill Station and many bus routes.

There's an attractive mix of local amenities including Honor Oak Gallery, a good range of local shops, Forest Hill library and Forest Hill and Sydenham secondary schools . Leisure is catered for by a community sports centre at Forest Hill School.
