Town centres play a big part in attracting people to the borough, providing jobs and services for local people.
The Council's Town Centre Management Team (TCM) is helping to improve the vitality and viability of the borough by working in partnership with local stakeholders such as businesses, traders and residents associations, property owners, wardens and the police. The team provides support to 4,000 businesses and attracts significant amounts of public and private investment to the borough.
Each TCM looks after a different area of the borough and has a broad local remit. However, they all share one joint-goal: to develop as much interest in the town centres as is possible.
