High street favourites are well represented throughout the borough, but there’s a growing number of independent businesses that give Lewisham its unique mix.
In recognition of this, Lewisham Council ran the WHO DO YOU LOVE? competition to find the best independent business in the borough.
Independent businesses are those with nine or fewer outlets in their chain.
Examples include cafés, restaurants, fashion boutiques, estate agents, hairdressers, florists, butchers and pubs.
