The winners of the 2008 Lewisham Business Awards were announced on 3 April at a ceremony staged at Blackheath Halls and compered by Tim Campbell, winner of the first series of The Apprentice TV show.
The Lewisham Business Awards celebrate the borough’s many success stories and showcase the creativity, innovation and growth of Lewisham businesses and entrepreneurs. They also recognise the achievements of local businesses and their contribution to making Lewisham a great place to live, work and learn.

- Growth Business of the Year: The Circle Podiatry, Lewisham
- Best Young Entrepreneur (14-19 years old): Chantelle Green and Peter Uye-Parker, Christ the King Sixth Form College, Lewisham
- Best Social Enterprise: Envirowork, Brockley
- Welcome to Lewisham: Horniman Museum, Forest Hill
- Environmental Excellence Award: The Colourhouse, New Cross.
