Browsealoud and speech enabled browsing

Hear this website read aloud, download BrowseAloud Speech enabled browsing means that you can hear this website read aloud.

How does it work?

You can download free software to your personal computer as a plug-in. Once installed you can hear this site read aloud. There are many other websites that you can listen to but only if they have been speech enabled.

Who uses it?

Browsealoud reads web pages aloud for people who have;

  • mild visual impairments
  • dyslexia
  • English as a second language.

Reading large amounts of text on screen can be difficult for those with literacy and visual impairments.

How do I download it?

You will find full instructions on how to download and install the plug-in on the Browsealoud website. Once installed there will be a small icon on your systemtray at the bottom right of your browser window.
